Peerless Toasted Rye

What to expect

Peerless sweet mash rye aged in a char-3 barrel and then a medium-toast Kelvin Cooperage finishing barrel, bottled at barrel proof and never chill-filtered (Iowa lists 100 proof). The producer describes vanilla over the rye's pepper and hay, caramel and toffee, then honey, toasted spice and chocolate.
