Peerless Toasted Bourbon

What to expect

Peerless sweet mash bourbon aged first in a char-3 barrel, then finished in a medium-toast Kelvin Cooperage barrel and bottled at barrel proof with no water added (Iowa lists 102 proof). The producer credits the first barrel with caramel, brown sugar and toffee and the toasted one with honey, vanilla, spice and chocolate.
