Peerless High Rye Bourbon

What to expect

A Peerless sweet mash bourbon from Louisville built on a higher-rye version of the house mash bill, double distilled through a Vendome column, aged in new Kelvin oak at low entry proof and bottled at barrel proof without chill filtration (Iowa lists 102 proof). The producer notes seasoned oak, leather, citrus and cedar, then candied oak, toasted sugar, charred orange and tobacco.
