What to expect
The flagship of Olde Raleigh Distillery in Zebulon, North Carolina: numbered small batches blended from straight bourbons (barrels from Tennessee, Indiana, Wyoming, Colorado and Kentucky, ages 4 to 20 years) and finished with toasted, charred wood from a 130-year-old local white oak. Most batches are 93 proof; each batch has its own notes, but the house describes allspice, caramel, malted chocolate and oak.
