What to expect

An annual release in Michter's Legacy Series, named for John Shenk, whose 1753 distillery later became Michter's. It's a small-batch Kentucky sour mash whiskey with a good share of rye; the 2026 recipe adds caramel malted barley, and part of it was finished in toasted, uncharred Vosges French oak. Bottled at 91.2 proof, with graham cracker, caramel and spice moving to stone fruit, per Michter's.

Expected notes: Graham cracker, Caramel, Bread pudding, Rye spice, Apricot, Toasted oak.
