Kings County's single malt, aged 3 to 6 years in 15-gallon ex-bourbon barrels from New York pale malt, Golden Promise and a little peated Chariot malt (Iowa lists 94 proof). The producer describes wildflower honey, lemon verbena and hay, citrus shortbread and toasted oak, and a lightly smoky, grilled-pineapple finish.
