What to expect
The fourth edition of Deerhammer's Progeny Series: the Buena Vista distillery's American single malt, three years in toasted and charred new oak, then two more years in Carboy Winery casks (65% Albarino, 25% brandy, 10% cider) at 7,930 feet. Bottled at 106 proof in a 2023 run of about 900 bottles. Deerhammer's notes: cherry pie filling, cinnamon-raisin bread, blackberry jam, grilled peach, toasted oak and honeysuckle.
